He also served on the Board of Directors of the Johnstown Tribune Publishing Co., WJAC, Inc.'s parent company, as well as Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the NBC Television Network Affiliates Board. From 1990 to 1996 he served as Chairman of JARI, the largest economic development organization in the greater Johnstown, Pennsylvania region. From 2007 to 2010, he also served as JARI's Director of Entrepreneurial Development.
