Dr. Calhoun also serves as chairman of the board of directors for the UT Health East Texas Health System, is on the executive committee of Teaching Hospitals of Texas and is the immediate Past Chair of the American Association of Medical Colleges Board of Directors. Dr. Calhoun has received numerous awards for his work and leadership in healthcare, public health, higher education delivery and community service, including the prestigious Doctor Luke Society and the T.B. Butler Citizen of the Year Award in 2021. Dr. Calhoun’s extensive executive experience, combined with business management and leadership skills, qualify him to be a member of the Board. |
