General Maluda enlisted in the Air Force in 1973 and received his commission in 1978 as a distinguished graduate of the ROTC program at Troy State University in Alabama. His career highlights include serving at three major commands, with unified combatant commands, a defense agency, the White House and the Air Staff. General Maluda’s staff experience included positions at Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Air Combat Command, U.S. Air Force in Europe, Air Force Special Operations Command, U.S. Space Command and the White House Communications Agency. General Maluda holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University, a Master’s Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, and Master’s Director Certification from the American College of Corporate Directors, a public company director education and credentialing organization.
