Mr. Clark serves as the President and CEO of ShotSpotter, Inc., a publicly traded (NASDAQ SSTI) SaaS-based acoustic surveillance and precision policing solutions company bringing the power of digital transformation to law enforcement in more than 200 cities and 2,500 agencies in the United States. Mr. Clark joined ShotSpotter in 2010 and led the business model and technology transformation resulting in ShotSpotter's initial public offering in 2017. Prior to joining ShotSpotter, Mr. Clark was the CEO of GuardianEdge Technologies, a leading end-point data protection company that he joined in 2005, which was acquired by Symantec in 2010. Mr. Clark started his career as an IBM large systems marketing representative in the early 1980s working in Seattle with primary responsibility for large systems sales to Boeing Computer Services. After IBM and business school, Mr. Clark spent three years in investment banking with Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch before pursuing a career as a high tech entrepeneur. Mr. Clark holds a B.S. in Economics from University of the Pacific and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
