Mr. Aldrich also joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company, at its founding in 1989 and served as Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer until 2001. Mr. Aldrich has also served on the board of directors of Verastem, Inc., a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, since August 2010.
