2021-12-23 Mr. Skiados has served as the president of Leadership Communications & Training, an aviation industry consulting company with a focus on advising boards of directors on proper governance procedures, management and labor relations and strategic planning, since February 2009. Prior to retiring in June 2009, Mr. Skiados served as the executive director of the Air Line Pilots Association (the "ALPA"), the world's largest pilots' union. He had previously served as the ALPA's director of communication and was continuously employed by the ALPA for 40 years. Mr. Skiados is the recipient of the Paul Whalen Education Award for his role in the formation of the Council on Aviation Accreditation (now known as the Aviation Accreditation Board International ("AABI")), the Richard W. Taylor Industry Award, which is presented annually to a member of AABI who volunteers time and effort to further the goals of that organization and the National Aeronautics Association's ("NAA") Wesley L. McDonald Distinguished Statesperson of Aviation Award. Mr. Skiados has successfully completed the Wharton Executive Development Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and attended the University of Maryland.
